• Buses are well cleaned daily
• Information in buses has been increased, e.g. stickers
• Our drivers will come to work healthy, we hope you too!
• Remember good hand hygiene
• Hand sanitizers are available for customers in charter buses
• The aim is to travel loosely enough; leave space if possible.
• The driver meets customers outdoors
• We say hello, but not shake hands
• The driver assists with the luggage
• Attention has been paid to car ventilation

Lehtimäki Charter actively follows the instructions of the Government and the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) and changes practices if necessary.

F1 Race Calendar for 2020 spectacular! On 15th March Australia opens the season and we are ready.

This year there will be 22 races around the world. With more than 10 years of experience, Lehtimäki Matkat has made reliable, safe and secure F1 tours. The new Address of Lehtimäki Matkat

Starting from Monday January 27, Lehtimäki Matkat / Travel Agency’s new address is Mariankatu 12 C, 3rd floor, 15110 LAHTI.

The brand new premises are located on Mariankatu Square, opposite Café Sinuhe.

– The location of the new office is very central and next to the market. In addition, parking spaces are close to the front door and Toriparkki is nearby. The official opening will be arranged for our customers as soon as we have the facilities ready, says Henry Perttula, Sales Director at Lehtimäki Matkat.

The opening hours of Lehtimäki Matkat will remain the same and customers will be served on weekdays between 9am and 4pm.

– Our wonderful staff Marjut, Merja, Nina, Marjukka and I serve our customers both on the phone and on our office as before. See you in the new premises!

Henry Perttula welcomes customers to the new location on behalf of the entire staff.

Valtteri Bottas Duathlon on 18. August

Valtteri Bottas Duathlon and Lehtimäki Group

Valtteri Bottas Duathlon powered by Tunturi will be held for the third time on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Valtteri’s home district, Nastola. Lehtimäki Group is the official partner of the event.

Co-operation on public transportation continues, as Lehtimäki brings people from the Lahti market square to Pajulahti.

Lehtimäki free transportation on Sunday, August 18, 2019:

• DEPARTURE from Lahti at 10 am, 11 am and at noon, from Marolankatu tourist stop, on the edge of the market square.
• RETURN from Pajulahti at 3 pm, 4 pm and 5 pm in front of Pajulahti Hall.

This year’s novelties

Team Duathlon is the much-desired novelty this year. Mika Häkkinen and his team tested the tracks last year. The Mini-VBD for children under the age of 7 is also a welcome addition. Each participating child will receive a medal. Valtteri Bottas enters the starting line at 2 pm.

Things to do for the whole family

The event area has free entrance and has a wide range of activities for the whole family. At the Partner Area, the event partners will make sure that everyone has enough to do.

World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki

World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki

Finnish Figure Skating Association hosts the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki on 12-13 April, 2019. The previous Synchronized Skating Championships were held in Helsinki 2001 and 2011 and the ISU Junior World Synchronized Skating Championships in 2013.

24 teams from 20 countries will take part in the competition, and Helsinki Rockettes and Marigold IceUnity will represent Finland. Finland and Marigold IceUnity are the dominant world champions, so there are special expectations for this competition.

Lehtimäki Charter will take care of the transportation of the skating teams. Transport between the airport, the ice rink and the hotel is carried out safely by high-quality charter buses.

– The popularity of the event is very high! Tickets were sold in less than an hour last autumn. In Finland, synchronized skating  is very popular. Our country has more than 180 teams, what is more than anywhere else in the world, says Mila Kajas-Virtanen, Marketing and Communications Manager at the Finnish Figure Skating Association.

Nearly 400 volunteers are involved in the event. The competition is organized by the Finnish Figure Skating Association.

Lehtimäki and Kovanen start a partnership in chartered transport operations

As a result of this partnership, customers will be able to get all they need from a single provider, and even larger transportation needs will be met with ease.

Leaders in the taxi and transportation industry Lehtimäki Charter and Kovanen have started a partnership. Going forward, Lehtimäki’s customers will be able to order Kovanen’s Mercedes-Benz vehicles and minibuses (vehicles with 10-16 seats). Similarly, you will also be able to order large Lehtimäki buses through Kovanen. Behind this change is a desire to ensure better availability for customers and raise the already high level of service offered.
